The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Registry is the only Electronic Health Record (EHR) integrated with NextGen Healthcare, Inc.’s award-winning NextGen Office, which will be on display at the organization’s annual conference in Orlando from July 28 to July 31. The APMA Registry, which offers clinically pertinent insights to NextGen Healthcare clients, was founded with NextGen Healthcare as a founding partner.

To help healthcare professionals make decisions at the point of care, the APMA Registry compiles patient data and offers statistics on podiatry trends. The APMA has announced an expanded agreement with NextGen Healthcare to use the combined APMA Registry to harness clinical data and best practises.

“NextGen Healthcare’s partnership with the APMA delivers on our commitment to ease the burden for small practices and specialties such as podiatry”, “Our solutions deliver operational efficiencies and streamlined workflows for providers, and integration with the APMA Registry leads to better patient outcomes.”

Dr. Robert Murry, chief medical officer at NextGen Healthcare

The company’s cloud-based small office EHR and practise management (PM) solution, NextGen Office, received the top spot in the 2022 Best in KLAS: Software & Services Report for Small Practice PM/EMR (10 or fewer physicians).

APMA members select the solution as their preferred EHR because it provides podiatry-specific clinical workflows. Podiatrists can touch, speak, or enter encounter notes into the clinical documentation using NextGen Office. The technology gives patients the ability to make appointments online, ask for prescription refills, and arrange for virtual visits. Importantly, it also enables communication between members of the care team via direct messaging and referral sharing.

Representatives of NextGen Healthcare will showcase NextGen Office at Booth 1207 at the APMA Annual Scientific Meeting. You can book live, one-on-one demonstrations here.

Conference attendees are also invited to attend sessions sponsored by NextGen Healthcare:

July 28 : 4:30-5 p.m., Innovation Cafe: Put the Brakes on Burnout—5 Strategies to Renew Your Passion for Care, featuring Omid Ebrahimi-Sohi, Practice and Revenue Management Consultant, Modern Practice Solutions
