Prime Healthcare and Steer Health Announce Strategic Partnership to Improve Patient Outcomes and Access to Care


An innovative AI-enabled growth and automation platform, Steer Health, and Prime Healthcare, an award-winning national health system, have announced a strategic enterprise partnership to develop a next-generation consumer engagement experience for Prime’s 45 hospitals and more than 300 outpatient locations across 14 states.

Prime Healthcare has introduced PrimeHealthNow, a platform created to meet the changing and new healthcare demands of customers, with an emphasis on facilitating simple access to practical, budget-friendly, and patient-centered care. Utilizing cutting-edge technology to increase access to care, enabling real-time feedback on patient experience, empowering staff with streamlined patient communication tools, and optimising care delivery are some of the important initiatives.

Among PrimeHealthNow’s objectives are:

  • Enhance access to same-day care through Steer Health’s GetCareNow programme, which allows for online scheduling of ER, urgent care, and primary care appointments.
  • Ensure that the appropriate care is provided to the appropriate patient in the appropriate location to lower healthcare expenditures.
  • Increase the proportion of digital interactions in all encounters to at least 50% while maintaining a high level of human touch.
  • Increase the reach and engagement potential of care teams and make it possible for patients to get virtual care in a way that is both individualised and practical.

In order to support patients and their families and seamlessly guide them across all health system services, including emergency services, primary care, virtual care, outpatient and inpatient settings, Prime Healthcare will make use of Steer Health’s extensive suite of consumer-centric digital engagement tools. Steer Health’s conversational messaging with artificial intelligence, live customer navigation, and patient-centered 24/7 virtual care will assist in coordinating a tailored consumer experience to support the complete patient journey.
