Make-A-Wish America has announced a new nationwide partnership with Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), the global leader in AI-powered CRM, aimed at spreading hope and joy to children facing life-threatening illnesses. As part of this collaboration, Salesforce will act as the official matching gift partner for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) this September, encouraging even greater generosity and amplifying the impact of donations in communities across the United States.

Through this relationship, Salesforce has committed to giving children and their families life-changing dreams by contributing approximately $1 million a year for the next three years. This multi-year commitment will help expand outreach efforts, fund more wishes, and bring Make-A-Wish closer to its goal of reaching every eligible child who dreams of an extraordinary experience during a difficult time.

“We are thrilled to welcome Salesforce as a national corporate partner in our mission to bring hope to children facing critical illnesses,” said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “Every wish we fulfill has the ability to inspire not only the child but their entire community. Unfortunately, for every wish granted, there are still two children waiting. With Salesforce’s strong dedication to social impact, we are better positioned to reach more families faster, creating moments of courage, joy, and strength when they’re needed the most.”

With around 15,000 new cases identified in the United States each year, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September raises awareness of the difficulties faced by children with cancer and their families. Among the children Make-A-Wish serves, cancer continues to be the most prevalent qualifying condition. Salesforce has pledged this year to match any donations made during the month in order to make sure that more kids may benefit from the transformative power of a wish, which is frequently a crucial turning point in treatment and rehabilitation.

“Children’s health and well-being have always been central to Salesforce’s philanthropic efforts,” said Marc Benioff, Salesforce Chair and CEO. “Make-A-Wish brings light to children and families during some of their toughest moments, and we are proud to stand with them in helping turn more wishes into reality.”

This partnership will also include opportunities for employee engagement, storytelling initiatives, and co-branded efforts at key events such as World Wish Month.
