To streamline the healthcare data science workflow, Nimblemind launches NimbleLabs

Nimblemind, an AI company dedicated to helping healthcare providers and researchers maximize the value of their data, has announced the launch of NimbleLabs. This new platform is a lightweight, AI-powered solution designed to make clinical data enrichment accessible to data scientists, researchers, and students alike. With its simple upload-and-enrich workflow, NimbleLabs enables raw clinical data to be transformed into structured, analysis-ready outputs, reducing a process that often takes months into just hours.

Built specifically for healthcare organizations and innovators, NimbleLabs enriches multimodal data for analysis and modeling without requiring institutions to invest in complex infrastructure. It supports a wide range of commonly used healthcare data, from unstructured clinical notes and medical images to video files, wearable device data, and patient-reported surveys. The result is a platform that helps streamline data workflows, accelerate research timelines, and enable experimentation with AI-ready datasets in ways that were previously too resource-intensive.

“Healthcare needs AI that is clinically relevant, scalable, and trustworthy,” said Brian Khan, MD, MBA, Medical Director of Digital Health and Well-Being at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth. “NimbleLabs transforms raw clinical data into AI-ready datasets in hours, not months, giving researchers and health systems the ability to drive faster discoveries and create solutions in areas of medicine that have often been underserved. This is how we take AI from the lab to the bedside.”

NimbleLabs reflects Nimblemind’s broader mission of enriching multimodal clinical data with traceability, context, and structure. At its core is a proprietary enrichment engine that combines automated preprocessing, intent detection, and specialty-specific enrichment capabilities designed to meet the real demands of healthcare.

“We created NimbleLabs to unlock the full potential of healthcare data,” said Pi Zonooz, CEO and Co-founder of Nimblemind. “By simplifying and speeding up dataset preparation, we allow providers and researchers to focus on making discoveries, improving care, and delivering measurable impact, rather than getting bogged down by manual processes.”

The launch of NimbleLabs follows Nimblemind’s $2.5 million seed round earlier this year, led by Bread & Butter Ventures with support from Great Oaks VC, SpringTime Ventures, Techstars, and others. The company’s solutions are already being used by healthcare organizations across the United States and Asia in specialties such as pathology, geriatrics, gastroenterology, public health, and palliative care.

Nimblemind’s founding team brings a blend of technical depth and clinical expertise. Their Chief AI Officer, who holds a PhD in Healthcare AI from Yale, previously led data science at NYC Health + Hospitals, while CEO Pi Zonooz has overseen the launch of more than 40 products during his tenure at AWS. Together, they are building tools that are redefining the way healthcare institutions transform data into insights.
