CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, recently completed a major project with Brazil’s National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI) to implement an enhanced workflow solution examination work for chemical patent applications using a unique combination of technology, artificial intelligence, data and experience. The new solution reduced application review times by up to 50%, helping the office achieve its goal of serving 80% of its cumulative multi-year applications.
