Health equity and sustainability are two areas in which healthcare organizations would be wise to invest, given their potential to impact the balance sheet. In the coming years, health equity outcome-related data will increasingly impact reimbursements, policies from the executive branch, as well as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services who will seek to ensure that healthcare organizations are doing their part to mitigate the climate crisis.
