Polysciences Announces New Bioprocessing Brand, Kyfora Bio

Kyfora Bio will represent Polysciences, Inc.’s product offerings to the bioprocessing market as a maker of specialised chemicals for research, IVD, and medical device applications with a base in Pennsylvania.

Kyfora Bio will concentrate on the synthesis of cationic polymers, lipids, and other materials used in nucleic acid delivery for cell and gene therapies, building on Polysciences’ extensive experience in developing and manufacturing monomers, polymers, microspheres, and specialty reagents for the medical device, diagnostic, and pharmaceutical industries.

A 45,000 square foot cGMP building with administrative offices, R&D labs, production suites, and QC labs for chemical and biological performance testing will be home to Kyfora Bio’s Horsham, Pennsylvania headquarters. The 250,000 square foot Warrington, Pennsylvania campus of Polysciences, which serves as the business’s headquarters and houses manufacturing, R&D, QA/QC, and product storage facilities, is not far from the new location.
